Easy GTA 6 videos you can post every day

Filmed on a PS5, no mods, one or two sittings

The short answer

  • Most GTA views go to videos GTA 6 on a PS5 can't make at launch. In the 13,746 English GTA long-forms we pulled from search (2022 on), about 64% of views went to mod stories, roleplay servers, GTA Online and other videos that need mods or other players.
  • Four types are easy and still get views: story playthrough parts, how-to answers, one-sitting goal, news and reactions. Each can be filmed in one sitting.
  • Five more need one prep step (a list, a route or GTA 5 footage) and beat their channel's usual more often: tips lists, explainers, location guides, GTA 5 vs GTA 6 and rankings (62% at least twice the channel's usual, against 49% for the easy ones).
  • One play session can feed several videos. Play the story for the numbered part, answer how-to questions along the way, save clips for the weekly lists.
  • Launch month favours playthroughs. After six big game launches, walkthroughs took 18% of views in the first month and 6% in months 2-4, while guides held about 10-11%.
  • Keep the big videos weekly. Challenge runs take many attempts, but they beat their channel's usual by the most of any type with enough data.

Types sorted from 6,870 of those videos (the categories that do not need mods or Online by definition), by how they are filmed. The 64% depends on what we searched, so read it as a direction.

Level 1: film it in one sitting

Story playthrough parts

You play the story (first time, then the missions) and react. Each sitting is one numbered part.

GTA 6 title ideas: My First Hour in GTA 6 · GTA 6 First Playthrough, Part 1 · I Played GTA 6 for 5 Hours: First Impressions

In the data: 158 videos you could make on a PS5; half got over 63k views; 52% got at least twice their channel's usual. Typical length 88 min.

Plain walkthroughs are crowded: a typical let's-play upload gets about 13k, flops included. But full-game and mission walkthroughs that have had two months to collect views still have a median of 524k in our data (133 videos). Parts run long (typically 88 min) and a PS5 records up to an hour at a time, so plan one or two recordings per part.

How-to answers

One real question players are typing into search, answered on camera in about 10 minutes.

GTA 6 title ideas: How to Get 6 Stars in GTA 6 · How to Lose the Cops at 6 Stars · How to Go Scuba Diving in GTA 6 · How to Study Animals in GTA 6

In the data: 67 videos you could make on a PS5; half got over 42k views. Typical length 9 min.

Several can come out of one sitting: answer each question as you play. Skip clickbait like the GTA 5 "secret 4th character" videos.

One-sitting goal

One goal or rule, tried in a single session, with a counter on screen.

GTA 6 title ideas: Playing GTA 6 Without Breaking a Single Law · Can You Live as a Normal Person in GTA 6? · How Long Can You Survive 6 Stars? · I Did Every Activity in GTA 6 in One Day

In the data: 102 videos you could make on a PS5; half got over 61k views; 36% got at least twice their channel's usual. Typical length 14 min.

Check the idea works without mods: 30% of the goal videos in our data used them.

News and reactions

You on camera talking about news, patches or reviews, over official footage. No gameplay needed.

In the data: 1,432 videos you could make on a PS5; half got over 74k views; 49% got at least twice their channel's usual. Typical length 12 min.

The most crowded type: a typical GTA 6 news upload (flops included) gets 24k, and 32% get under 10k.

How to read the numbers: "you could make on a PS5" means labeled as needing no mods, no other players and no Online. The videos come from YouTube search, which leans to hits, and a last-month search adds fresh uploads that have not had time to collect views, so use the numbers to compare types, not to predict your views. A typical upload in the closest GTA categories, flops included: tips and glitches 15k, let's plays 13k, secrets and myths 39k, challenges 64k.

Level 2: one prep step

A filming day (proposed)

  1. Session 1, story (a PS5 records up to an hour at a time; stream it if you like, the replay is the raw file): the next numbered part of your first playthrough. AI cuts it into the part plus 2-3 Shorts.
  2. Session 2, free roam (up to an hour): one goal attempt, and on the way 2-3 how-to answers (one question each). Say each answer out loud so the edit can find it.
  3. When news drops: a talking-head reaction, no gameplay.
  4. All week: say "save" on anything surprising; on the weekend the AI builds one tips list or location guide from those clips.
  5. Once a week: one hero video (challenge run, myth test or experiment).

That is up to 4-5 long videos a day from about 2 hours of play, plus Shorts. It is a plan, not a measured result. The volume research found no clear gain in weekly views past three or four videos a week on one GTA channel, so the 3-vs-5 a day test in the volume plan decides how many to post. Before launch, the same types work in GTA 5 on the PS5, which also trains the AI edit.

The weekly hero videos

Challenge runs beat their channel's usual by the most of any type with enough data: 141 console-doable in our data, half over 357k views, 81% at least twice their channel's usual (26 with a channel baseline). But every console-doable one we labeled takes many attempts or sessions, and 37% of all challenge runs used mods.

What a PS5 can't do

  • Mod stories and mod showcases (superheroes, 1,000 mph cars, kid mod stories): PC only, and Rockstar's mod rules ban cheat menus.
  • Roleplay servers and GTA Online: GTA 6 launches single-player only.
  • Most "every car vs X" tests: 74% of them in our data used mods. Do the ones the normal game allows.
  • Cheat codes: Rockstar has published none for GTA 6 yet (past GTA cheats did work on console), so don't plan videos around them.
